ALL THAT ZAZZ

Powder It Up

Ciao bella,

Body powder goes way back to the ancient Greeks and Romans. Used mostly for cosmetic purposes, but then discovered a cool, dry, scented, and healing side of powder for the body. (More on cosmetic powder in another column.)

Recently LUSH just came out with some really fab deodorant powders. Great for when you leave the gym; ideal for use after shower. Containing antibacterial, antifungal, and antimicrobial properties, it helps to reduce body odor and it's great for between your toes 'cause feet contact many germs as you sprint in the locker room.

My favorite is the Powder Puff Deodorant Powder. Romantically scented with rose, its intoxicatingly seductive properties also contain orris powder that comes from the precious root of the Florentine Iris. The most expensive ingredient from LUSH, but there is no substitute for the luxury this powder offers --so indulge!

Mr. T. Deodorant Powder contains the Australasian herbal wonder plant the Tea Tree. Great for extra sweaty areas, irritations, and the feet.

Coconut Deodorant Powder -- this one is especially good for those with dry skin. The sweet coconut, pina colada scent will bring you back to summer days on the beach.

For fun, try LUSH's Ginger Powder. It'll make you feel smooth all over, and more comfortable in your clothes.

LUSH will give you a sparkling night on the town with Bare Naked Lady. Feel soft and smooth and sparkly as you sprinkle this one on everywhere.

Candy Fluff is for sissies. Pink in a powder puff. Sweet and delicious with a little scent of musk for the real woman hiding behind the fluffy exterior.

So puff, sprinkle, powder, and pouf away to a smooth ideal you.

Buona giornata and God bless the United States of America!
